Your neighborhood pizzeria is NOW OPEN!
The Haven Pizzeria opened mid March and we are very excited to bring pizza to Kensington and the surrounding neighborhoods!
Our goals are simple...to provide a quality product at a reasonable price and to provide a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere to enjoy food, family and friends. The Haven offers a variety of pizzas, salads, beer and wine. We are very vegetarian friendly, but also offer a variety of all natural meats as toppings. We have tried to put together a good list of beers (many local!) and wines (because pizza and beer/wine are a great combo), but we are very family friendly so little ones are welcome!! We have take-out and are working on doing delivery in the near future.
Owner Lauren Passero opened Kensington Cafe right down the street in 2008, and after 4 years of falling in love with the community feel of Kensington, decided to open The Haven Pizzeria. GM/ owner Kate Grimes worked with Lauren in the past and even helped her open the cafe. Since then she has been working in the pizza business, so lends a great bit of experience to our team. We were also lucky enough to find Kevin Strombel, a passionate, young chef, who has put together some great recipes that we think you will enjoy.
